THINGS YOU MIGHT LIKE TO DO

You are in the midst of fantastic walking and cycling country. Go riding (all standards) round the lake at Artignosc, enjoy the wonderful views, and even tether up your horses and go for a dip en route! Take a boat or canoe from Quinson and sail up the Gorges with a picnic and soak up the breathtaking scenery. Perhaps you would like to learn to windsurf or sail - all available nearby at the beautiful Lac St Croix.

In April and May, wild flowers and poppies abound in all the fields and meadows and, in June and July, enjoy the heady perfume of the magnificent surrounding lavender fields which are in full bloom.

There are great markets to visit, Riez and Aups (20 minutes) on Thursdays and Saturdays and Lorgues (much bigger, 40 minutes, but worth the journey!) on Tuesdays, these are all a "foodies" dream with colourful stalls overflowing with olives, salamis, cheeses, wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables, delicious paella and cooked chickens - highly recommended!

Explore the numerous pretty hilltop villages and restaurants, spend a day wine tasting at the many local chateaux! Or, just stay home, play tennis, have a barbeque, relax by the pool.....you will not be bored! More information on all of the above in the studio guest manual.
